Democratic leaders in the House have decided to roll the dice today on health care reform, approving a framework for debate that is all but certain to anger female pro-choice members, because it allows for a vote on a controversial provision related to abortion.
Democrats tried to put the best face on the internal machinations of their party on health care reform yesterday, expressing confidence about holding a vote this weekend, while at the same time admitting the vote could be delayed.
