Obama posted this non-original document on the internet, then asked factcheck.org to verify that it was real. Who the hell is factcheck.org? We as citizens are suppose to trust what a biased private non-profit organization says. Show it to a judge and let a judge decide.
Every american has to prove their place/date/time of birth via birth cert, just to get a driver lic, it's not to much to ask Barack to do the same. This is not an un-reasonable request. SHOW IT TO A JUDGE!

Funny thing, I looked at my birth certificate from Ohio and found a doctors signature, then I checked my wife's from California-same thing, then my kids-yup same thing...where is the doctors signature for Obama?

Can some of you check yours and let us know what you find?

Being a realist, I accept the fact that Barack Obama will be sworn in as President of the United States. But he will do it without having to prove he is legally eligible to hold the office.

Despite countless media articles to the contrary - due either to ignorance or willful dishonesty - Barack Obama has not produced his actual birth certificate. Why not?

Two Hawaiian officials claim to have personally looked at the actual certificate and assure us it is valid. About this, two points should be made:

1) In 1961, a non-naturalized citizen in Hawaii could have been given a valid birth certificate. Therefore the claim that it is valid proves nothing;

2) In any event, why are we being asked to accept the word of these two? Why would we accept their word? Why can't we see this birth certificate?

And why won't Barack Obama tell us which hospital he was born in so that, in the absence of a valid birth certificate, we can check that hospital's records?

Think about this: Mr. Obama is only 47 years old. That means at least some people involved in his birth, such as the patient admissions office, doctors, nurses, etc., are likely to be alive. Doesn't it strike you as odd that not one of them has come forward to brag about being with Barack Obama "from the beginning"?

Bottom line: Instead of allowing us to see his original birth certificate and/or letting us in on what hospital he was born in, Barack Obama has done everything in his power to hide both.

These are the actions of someone who does not want us to know the truth.

Am I claiming I know Barack Obama is legally unable to hold the office of President? No I am not.

What I am saying is that we are owed proof. And the fact that, with a disgraceful complement of media complicity, Mr. Obama has deliberately withheld it from us, raises major suspicions about his eligibility in my mind.

That said, barring some unforseen turn of events we will have our President Obama on January 20. And if, after he performs duties of this office (e.g. signs legislation, agrees to treaties with foreign nations, etc.) it comes out that he is not legal to be President, thus the legislation and those treaties are null and void? I guess we'll just have to deal with it then.

Maybe, just maybe, the time to do so is before rather than after he assumes office. But, hey, that's just me.

I wonder how many FM stations you can get through your fillings if you wear a tin foil hat.

Three questions that need to be ask by the Press.
1. Why doesn't BO produce his real birth certificate?
2. Why has BO used so much money suppressing his birth certificate?
3. What passport does he carry. If American what document was it issued under(birth certificate?).

I'm not saying anything about where Obama was born, but the document itself, which Jamie says contains the language, "his copy serves as prima facie evidence of the fact of birth in any court proceeding" (and it does) also states even more boldly "ANY ALTERATIONS INVALIDATE THIS CERTIFICATE". Blacking out the Certificate number is an "ALTERATION", and "INVALIDATES" the Certificate (caps used to mimic the document). Based on this alone, this document is not satisfactory.

1. This document is obviously not an original from 1961. A birth certificate from 1961 would have been typewritten and would look typewritten. There were no computers.
2. I doubt the security paper was available in 1961 either.
3. The revision date makes it clear this is a copy that was generated after 2001.
4. None of this means he wasn't born in Hawaii.
5. Even if his father was Kenyan, if Obama was born in Hawaii, he's still a citizen just like all those anchor babies the Mexicans have.
6. Even if they did travel to Indonesia to live, neither PEBO nor his mother would have had to give up their citizenship.
7. All of this is taking attention away from the real issue which is that this man wants to make this a socialist nation!

about 3/4 of the way down you see a reversed date stamp that was stamped on the other side and bled through a bit. the year - 2007 with some other numerical info.

The issue has nothing to do with whether Obama was or was not born in Hawaii. That's a "red herring" actually launched by Team Obama. The issue IS, that Obama is not an Article II "natural born citizen" because even he admits that his father was British/Kenyan when Obama was born.

I thought the issue wasn't so much that the above certificate is fake, but, that it isn't good evidence. From what I understand, anyone can file for Certificate of Live Birth at anytime, even if the birth occurred in another country and the child then flown into the states a few days later.

Obama could end this endless speculation by producing the actual "Birth Certificate" which lists more information (such as the hospital) than the "Certificate of Live Birth" which is shown. Perhaps he wasn't born in a hospital? I just find it very curious why he refuses to end this controversy.

The problem with this theory is that it is not true. The language of the Constitution and relevant jurisprudence make this evidently clear. Tendentious legal reasoning won't be winning out. This stuff now belongs in the same dustbin as the 911 and JFK conspiracy garbage.

Let's not forget that Obama is a product of a corrupt Chicago political machine. Then let's look in the lower left corner of the birth certificate, where we see the date of production of the document is November 2001. So we know that this cannot be the ORIGINAL certificate.
If Senate seats can be sold in Illinois, and voter fraud is rampant, it is not unreasonable to think that Obama (or a proxy) paid off some Hawaiian officials $100K or so to get this certificate.
PROVING that is another thing entirely.
In the end, it is a moot point, becasue wresting power away from him will incite massive violence. But it may say something about his efforts to fight the "culture of corruption" that the Dems seem to hypocritically "fight." Remember, that House Speaker Pelosi said that it "takes a woman to clean House!" I'm still waiting...

I can't believe with the election more than a month behind us, you people are still belly aching about him being a citizen. If there was a chance of this ploy working Hilary Clinton would have pulled this card during the primaries!!. He is our president, get over the lose and plan for 2012. There is to much going on in the world to still be fighting over this issue.

When you have actually researched the the Constituition and the framers supporting documents then feel free to write an article questioning the validity of the Donofrio and Wrotnowski suits.
