What others are saying
- defense budget billsHow many pages is the latest pentagon budget and where will the money come from and why has the congress not read it? What pork and ear marks are in defense spending bills? If you report we can decide.
- cboOct. 29 (Bloomberg) -- Health-care legislation released today by House Democrats would cut the federal budget deficit by $104 billion over the next 10 years, the Congressional Budget Office said.
The measure would âslightly reduceâ the deficit in the subsequent decade, the nonpartisan agency said. - 1990 page billSeriously? 1,990 pages long and at no point does it address the real problem - the COST of health care. Frightening.
- HCBillAnd this is going to be less intrusive and less complicated as well as save money! What planet are they on??? OMG! what the hell is wrong with these people? Enough is Enough!!
- dont need to read to understand it isnt governments jobCLS,
Just a small point is that to be against government regulating(and i say that knowing it is much more than regulating) an industry doesn't mean you need to read "the bill". Just read the constitution.
Second many of us have at least read enough to be sick to our stomachs.
Most that want a "public option"(aka government entitlement) don't get it isn't an option for the taxpayer. Beyond threats to make it mandatory or allow you to opt-out for a "fee"/fine, The taxpayers will not have the option not to pay into it!
We have lost the ideal of Liberty and freedom in this country. - What!?!Are they serious...
"Sec. 115 = Administrative simplification"
...out of 1990 pages -- we're finally going to get some simplification. Just plain WOW! - New billJamie,

Love listening to you because you're a true journalist, no bias! - Health careThank you for posting this bill. I don't completely understand the darn thing, but at least SOMEONE will be reading this!
- Pelosis BillTypical politics. Why don't they just give us the same insurance benefits as they recieve. We are all created equal?
- Health care reformHow much bureaucracy will this create If I was young and in the job market I'd be salivating to get in to this.
Talk about security and get all the holidays!!!! - House Health Care BillUnbelievable!
