Tony Schiavone is the Sports Director of WSB Radio in Atlanta and can be heard anchoring sports each morning on Atlanta's Morning News. He also is a member of the Georgia Bulldogs Radio Network...working on the post game show during both home and away games, and writes and produces the Best of the Bulldogs....which has won various award from the AP and GAB since its debut in 2004.

He also is the Sports Anchor for WHIO in Dayton, Ohio and can be heard on WDUN in Gainesville, GA as well as on Sports Radio 1240 the Ticket in Gainesville. Fans can all hear him on KRMG in Tulsa, OK, subbing for Sports Director Rick Couri at various times.

Prior to his years with WSB, Schiavone spent 10 years with Turner Broadcasting as a TV host and was the host of WCW Monday Nitro when it was consistently one of the top rated weekly cable television programs.

Schiavone has appeared in the motion picture "Ready to Rumble," release by Warner Brothers in 2000, and appeared in the HBO series Arliss in 1998.

In 2009 Schiavone will become the very first play by play voice of the Triple A Gwinnett Braves.
