Official Rules

Sponsors: This contest is sponsored by Cox Radio, Inc. d/b/a WSB AM, Labatt USA d/b/a Bass Ale, and Legacy Billiards Inc. (collectively, "Sponsors").

Contest Period: Dates of the contest are Saturday, December 6, 2003 to Saturday, January 3, 2004.

Eligibility: Contestants must be 18 years of age to participate in the contest. Employees of Sponsors, of the University of Georgia Radio Network Affiliate stations, The University of Georgia, United Distributing, other Metro Atlanta radio stations and their subsidiaries are not eligible to enter. Residents of New York are not eligible.

How to Enter the Contest: There are two ways to enter the contest: 1/they may enter at any one of the participating Bass Ale Tailgate Viewing Parties being held at various locations throughout the metro Atlanta area each Saturday that the University of Georgia Football team has a football game or 2/ by filling out and mailing in a 3x5 card with their name, address, telephone number, and age to: Bass Ale UGA/UF Giveaway Contest, c/o WSB Radio, 1601 West Peachtree Street, Atlanta, Ga. 30309. Eligible entries need to be complete in order to qualify for the contest. Contestants may enter only once. Deadline for receipt of mailed entries is Friday, January 2, 2004. Sponsors are not responsible for lost, late, illegible, or mutilated entries. By participating in this Contest, entrants agree to be bound by these rules and the decisions of the judges, which are final as to all matters relating to this game.

Winner Selection: There will one grand prizewinner chosen from all eligible entries received on January 3, 2004.

The decisions of the Sponsors in winner selection are final.

Prizes: The grand prizewinner will receive a regulation-sized pool table courtesy of Legacy Billiards. The table is a customized maple wood pool table and is logoed with the University of Georgia marks and a Larry Munson autograph. The odds of winning are dependent on the number of entries received. Approximate retail value of the prize is: $_2,600_.

There are no substitutions for prizes in the Bass Ale/Legacy Billiards UGA Pool Table Giveaway.

How to Claim prizes: a representative of Sponsors will notify the winner by telephone immediately after their name is chosen from the random drawing of all eligible entries. If Sponsors are unable to contact the winner within 48 hours of the date of the drawing, the prize is forfeited and an alternate winner chosen at random from among the entries received.

As a condition of receiving the prize, and to verify the winner, Sponsors require that the winner visit the WSB Sports Marketing offices, 1601 W. Peachtree St. N.E., Atlanta, GA 30309, during regular business hours. Arrangements to visit must be made with Jann Driscoll of WSB Sports Marketing or Carter Hatcher of WSB AM Promotions at (404) 897-7500. The winner will be required during that visit to show State-issued picture identification with his or her complete name, birth date and address. Winners will be required to execute in a form acceptable to Sponsors an affidavit of eligibility and a liability release form releasing Sponsors and the corporate parents and affiliated entities of each, from any and all claims of liability, damages or taxes arising from or relating to participation in the contest or in reception and use of the prize. By claiming a prize, each contestant consents to the use by Sponsors, The University of Georgia Radio Network, or affiliated companies of each, of his/her name, voice, likeness, picture and/or biographical information for public relations without compensation, and agrees to sign a form authorizing such use before picking up the prize. Furthermore, at that time the winner must provide Sponsors with their correct social security number and/or Federal Tax ID Number. Winner will also be required to sign a W-9 form at time of prize pick-up. Failure to do any of the foregoing in a timely manner may, at Sponsors' option, result in forfeiture of prize. If the prize is forfeited, sponsors reserve the right to draw another eligible entry randomly.

By participating in this contest contestants and winners agree to hold Sponsors and The University of Georgia Radio Network, their agencies, advertisers, licensees, and immediate families of any and all legal action from any incident or act whether known or unknown resulting from participating in this Contest.

Miscellaneous: Void where prohibited by federal, state, or local law. No purchase is necessary. The promoters are not responsible for interruptions in play due to conditions beyond their control, including but not limited to, game postponements, weather conditions, strikes, lockouts, or any other circumstance. If the game is canceled, no tickets to a future or make-up game will be awarded to any said winner.
