This event will feature Mr. Dennis Lockhart, the newly appointed president and chief executive officer of the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta. In this role, Lockhart is responsible for all the Bank's activities, including monetary policy, bank supervision and regulation, and payment services. He also chairs the Bank's Management Committee and serves on the Federal Reserve's chief monetary policy body, the Federal Open Market Committee. Lockhart a former Georgetown University faculty member who has taught courses in international investment and global business strategy will discuss the current economic outlook on both the US economy and Atlanta.
