Hello, my name is Taylor J. and I are 11 years old. I was born with Sickle Cell Anemia. Currently my doctors have me on Folic Acid and Hydroxyurea. I have been a Sickle Cell patient since the time I was born. I would say that I have to visit the Aflac Center about once a month or sometimes every 2 months unless I am in the hospital. My favorite doctors would have to be Dr. Iffy and Dr. Harry. They're the best doctors any patient could ever want or have. Once special friend that I would never forget is a teenager names Cassandra. When we were in the hospital together, I would go to her room and watch television or she would come to mine, but the point is that she was a person who helped me have fun while in pain. Also watching T.V. is what I like to do the most in my free time or I would read a very good book, like the Buford Series. Throughout the years, having Sickle Cell has taught me how serious it is to take care of yourself, drink lots of water and take your medicine. advertisement
