Trane was diagnosed on December 18, 2004 with ALL T-Cell and RSV. He was 18 months at that time. He ended up on a ventilator that night due to the RSV in the PICU. He was in remission within a week. He spent from December 18, 2004 to March 1, 2005 in hospital due to complications with RSV. He is taking chemo nightly at home and goes to the Aflac floor once a month for treatment. He is now on the maintenance phase of his chemo and will continue this until May 2008. Trane loves his nurse practitioner Stacy and is very happy to see the social worker Kris. We are always checking up on other patients we have met during Trane's illness. Once your family is diagnosed you have a common thread with other families and find it easy to connect to people the same situation. The journey has most taught us how precious life is and to live life to its fullest. We know God is in control.
