Riley was diagnosed with lymphoblastic lymphoma (also known as T-cell lymphoma) on March 13, 2006 when he was six years old. As of right now, Riley is on chemotherapy for his cancer. Riley comes into the Aflac Cancer Center once a month for this treatment. During the first eight months of treatment, he came into clinic at least once a week and sometimes had to stay inpatient for a week at a time. Dr. Keller is Riley's favorite doctor, his favorite nurse in the clinic is Lauren and his favorite inpatient nurse is Maggie. While in the hospital, one of Riley's favorite places to go was the garden. For fun, Riley plays computer games and his Playstation 2. Through his journey with cancer, Riley has learned how much his family loves him and that the people at the Aflac Cancer Center really care for kids.
