Christian was diagnosed with osteosarcoma in February of this year. He was 15 years old at the time and thoroughly enjoyed playing flag football. The osteosarcoma was in his lower femur, so knee replacement surgery was inevitable. Christian was not expected to be up and walking until 3 months after his surgery, but with his strong will and enduring spirit he was able to begin walking again after only 3 weeks!

Christian’s experience with the Aflac Cancer Center was very good. His favorite nurse is Dawn and he loves Dr. Rapkin. Christian has learned from this experience of his ability to exceed expectations with his fervor alone!
