My name is Douglas D. and I was diagnosed with Sickle Beta Thallosemia at birth. I have been a patient of the Aflac Cancer Center for about 6 years. It’s been a long, hard road for me and my family, but the doctors and nurses at the Aflac Cancer Center have been there for us. My favorite thing about the Aflac Cancer Center is that everyone is friendly and easy to talk to. Our journey with my diagnosis of Sickle Cell has taught my family and I to be patient and prayerful. You also should still try to have fun no matter what.
