Saturday, October 13 and 20, we needed your help and KROKTALK Listeners answered the call. Atlanta City Council Member, Joyce Sheperd has made it her mission to help the late Kyle Moore's mother, Lynn Carter. Kyle, a promising high school athlete at Washington Park High School in Southwest Atlanta was gunned down on May 3 walking home from a Marta Train Station. Kyle was being strongly considered for scholarships at many universities including Harvard. A special thanks to these folks for stepping up.

Council Member Sheperd, Hands on Atlanta and KROKTALK with Chris Krok and KROKTALK listeners helped to fix the exterior of Miss Carter's home in the Sylvan Hills neighborhood of Southwest Atlanta.
