Morning Drive News Anchor Full Time WSB FM B98.5 Reference # 292744

Job Description: WSB-FM is seeking a versatile team player to anchor morning drive news on the Steve and Vikki show. Qualified candidates must have a pleasant easy going on-air style not consistent with traditional news anchoring. Must be able to balance content between local stories, relatable stories to our primarily female audience and hard news. During newscasts, you may be asked to contribute relatable content to the morning show. Other responsibilities may include production, traffic reporting or additional newscasts on WSB-AM.

Board Operator Part Time WSB AM750 Reference # 292743

Job Description: Part Time AM Radio Board Operator, to operate the audio controls for WSB AM750 and associated radio networks.

Responsibilities: Duties include operating audio controls and digital computer cart system, screening phone calls, and running live and taped talk shows and sports network programming for evening, overnight and weekend shifts. Part time AM Ops typically work 3 to 5 shifts a week. All shifts are at night, overnight or on the weekend. Responsible for maintaining transmitter status of multiple sites, coordination of newscasts, and audio routing for remote broadcasts and network studio events.

Qualifications: Experience with transmitter controls, audio editing, talk radio formats, and network operations expected. Minimum of 2 years of commercial radio or television board experience required. Computer knowledge required.
