These are brilliant college students and sadly, not one of them could site one issue that Obama had accomplished other than "he's a great speaker" (which I find debatable since he always uses a teleprompter). My 14 year old proceded to talk with them about some of the major issues during the campaign.

A bipartisan commission is asserting the country should expect a terrorist attack using nuclear or biological weapons sometime in the next five years.

The report was written by the Commission on the Prevention of WMD Proliferation and Terrorism. Among other things, it concluded: "Our margin of safety is shrinking, not growing."

The report of the Commission on the Prevention of WMD Proliferation and Terrorism, led by former Sens. Bob Graham of Florida and Jim Talent of Missouri, acknowledges that terrorist groups still lack the needed scientific and technical ability to make weapons out of pathogens or nuclear bombs. It warns that gap can be overcome easily if terrorists should find scientists willing to share or sell their expertise.

"The United States should be less concerned that terrorists will become biologists and far more concerned that biologists will become terrorists," the report states.

"The biological threat is greater than the nuclear; the acquisition of deadly pathogens, and their weaponization and dissemination in aerosol form, would entail fewer technical hurdles than the theft or production of weapons-grade uranium or plutonium and its assembly into an improvised nuclear device."

It notes that the U.S. government's counterproliferation activities have been geared toward preventing nuclear terror. The commission recommends the prevention of biological terror be made a higher priority.

Study chairman Graham said anthrax remains the most likely biological weapon. However, he told the AP that contagious diseases, such as the influenza tstrain that killed 40 million early in the 20th century, are looming threats. That virus has been recreated in scientific labs, and there remains no inoculation to protect against it should it be stolen and released.

Graham said the threat of a terror attack using nuclear or biological weapons is growing "not because we have not done positive things but because adversaries are moving at an even faster pace to increase their access" to those materials.

He noted last week's rampage by a small group of gunmen in Mumbai.

"If those people had had access to a biological or nuclear weapon, they would have multiplied by orders of magnitude the deaths they could have inflicted," he said.

Al-Qaida remains the only terror group judged to be actively intent on conducting a nuclear attack against the United States, the report notes. It is not yet capable of building such a weapon and has yet to obtain one. But that could change if a nuclear weapons engineer or scientist were recruited to al-Qaida's cause, the report warns.

The report says the potential nexus of terrorism, nuclear and biological weapons is especially acute in Pakistan.

In fact, commission members were forced to cancel their trip to Pakistan this fall. The Islamabad Marriott Hotel that commission members were to stay in was blown up by terrorist bombs just hours before they were to have checked in.

"We think time is not our ally. The (United States) needs to move with a sense of urgency," Graham said.

I was listening to your station a few days ago and I heard a woman complaining about Obama supporters being verbally abusive to her because she was wearing a McCain pin. Well, I also would like to share a story. My daughter and a few friends were going through the neighborhood circulating pro Obama literature and a man jumped out of his truck, cursed them and then proceeded to destroy all of the fliers they had left in doorways. They felt he was going to do them bodily harm. My point in sharing this story is that people on BOTH sides are very emotional about this election and unfortunately, only one man can win. I think it is time for radio talk show hosts and other media personalities to suggest that people embrace whoever the winner is and try to work together towards making this a better America. After all, our young people are watching us. In fact, the whole world is watching us. We must demonstrate that we are able to move on and work together even if our candidate loses. If someone does not try to "put out some of the fires" that are raging within voters on both sides, I'm afraid someone will do something extremely regrettable.

She asked a Wasilla librarian what it would take to remove books she found offensive from the local library. She's against comprehensive sex-education. She wants schools to teach children creationism. She's anti-science.

Long story short: Palin is not satisfied with simply stemming the tide of her own informational intake. She wants to remove educational opportunities for America's children as well. And the way she drags her school-aged children around the campaign trail doesn't inspire much confidence in her educational values either.

But the fact that we have to reach back to the mid-19th century to find a party that embraced ignorance to the degree that we see in today's GOP should say something about the false correlation between the McCain/Palin ticket and the idea of change for the better.

I have sent letters demanding to know from my President and other Government Officials why we are not demanding legal and proven documents to support Barack Obama's Citizenship. All my life any time that I have applied for a job I have had to show proof of my U.S. Citizenship. There is a lawsuit filed by Philip Berg and Barack has filed a dismissal. Are we to wait until he is sworn in to be delivered proof that he is in fact a United States Citizen? If this country allows this to happen they should never ask for anyone to prove ever again that they are a citizen to acquire employment anywhere. This is how I see this. The date to vote is around the corner for this 2008 Election should we not identify this if there is any doubt and there certainly is why else would an Attorney file such a Law Suit? If Barack Hussein Obama is elected and sworn into office is that when we will see the real truth as to whether he is in fact an American Citizen? What then if he does not bring this satisfaction to the American People. This country has definitely gone HAYWIRE!

I would like to apply a little Obama logic our current economic conditions:

According to Obama, McCain agrees with President Bush 94% of the time… so electing him is like
re-electing George Bush, which gives us 4 more of the last 8 years – right?

So, following that logic, I’m guessing that Obama agrees with Pelosi about 100% of the time… so electing him is like electing Pelosi to be president, which gives us 4 more of the last 2 years that she has been presiding over the congress– which by far have been the worst of the last 8.

I can actually buy that electing Obama would essentially put Pelosi’s ideas in the White House… more mortgages for people who can’t afford them, more corrupt government programs (like Fannie and Freddy), and more regulations that apply to the rest of us, but don’t apply to the Feds.

NEW YORK In a surprising a letter to the editor published in The New York Times today, the chief prosecutor of the Weather Underground in the 1970s expressed outrage over the linking of Barack Obama to Bill Ayers by the McCain campaign, adding, "Although I dearly wanted to obtain convictions against all the Weathermen, including Bill Ayers, I am very pleased to learn that he has become a responsible citizen."

William C. Ibershof also corrects a charge in the Times: "I do take issue with the statement in your news article that the Weathermen indictment was dismissed because of 'prosecutorial misconduct.' It was dismissed because of illegal activities, including wiretaps, break-ins and mail interceptions, initiated by John N. Mitchell, attorney general at that time, and W. Mark Felt, an F.B.I. assistant director."

Felt, of course (you may have already forgotten), was also known as a guy called "Deep Throat."

As a graduate of the University of GEORGIA journalism College, I am always watching things that I was taught about in college. One such item is the way you can make a product or person or candidate look by the use of the camera angle. After the first debate I noticed that the producer was using flattering angles for NOBAMA and
unflattering camera angles on MCCAIN. I decided to watch this debate and score the camera angles.
There were four (4) camera shots
1 OBAMA SHOULDER"S UP (strong comanding presidential)

2. MCCAIN Sholder's up (strong commanding presidental)

3 OBAMA WITH McCain somewhere in this shot while NOBAMA is talking.

Why was it inportant to the debate outcome? When you put someone else in the speakers shot you are weaking the speaker, you can take the audiences mind of the current speaker and his comments thereby blurring the message by introduction the actions of the background character's into the speakers shot.

Also, a camera shot of just the one candidate from the waist up is much more flattering and more of a powerful image of the current speaker. It was just as I had noticed in the first debate. Nearly 87% of NObamas speaking time the camera's shot was from the sholder up and no McCain in the shot.

But if you play McCains speaking time over 59% of the time the camera had Obama in his the background which game Obama over 173% more camera time that McCain in this debate. He got his cameera time ALONE and then he got in
the backrounf of McCains shots also.

This is a method used by producers of commercials to get more time for their product. You can call it product placement if you like but I call it blackground journalism! Please let all the unwittingly viewing public on to this fact so they will not be at the mercy of producers that have OBAMA as their candidate. Also notice the actural time that each man spoke. Arrogant NOBAMA did not adhear to the time lights and after a while I thought the modirator would stop him but he was useless. OBAMA the ARROGANT JUST KEPT GOING WITH HIS "blah blah blah!!!

John McCain has had a field day with Barack Obama's tenuous associations with Bill Ayers, a former member of the Weather Underground who is now a Chicago professor.

Obama has said repeatedly that Ayers' radical past (he was involved in a handful of bombings in the 1960s) occurred when Barack was just a child, and he repudiates those actions. Nevertheless, McCain wants more. He claimed recently:

"I think not only a repudiation but an apology for ever having anything to do with an unrepentant terrorist is due the American people."
Now, however, the Chicago Tribune is pointing out McCain's own radical associations with G. Gordon Liddy:

How close are McCain and Liddy? At least as close as Obama and Ayers appear to be. In 1998, Liddy's home was the site of a McCain fundraiser. Over the years, he has made at least four contributions totaling $5,000 to the senator's campaigns--including $1,000 this year.

Last November, McCain went on his radio show. Liddy greeted him as "an old friend," and McCain sounded like one. "I'm proud of you, I'm proud of your family," he gushed. "It's always a pleasure for me to come on your program, Gordon, and congratulations on your continued success and adherence to the principles and philosophies that keep our nation great."


For those who are unaware, Liddy helped plan the Watergate break-in that would cost Nixon his presidency and landed Liddy a four-year jail sentence.

But Liddy's career of inflammatory statements and actions exceed his Watergate actions.

Liddy, on Vitenam:

"I wanted to bomb the Red River dykes [sic]. It would have drowned half the country and starved the other half. There would have been no way the Viet Cong could have operated if we had the will-power to do that."
Liddy, advising Branch Davidians how to defend themselves from ATF agents during a radio show:

"If the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms insists upon a firefight, give them a firefight. Just remember, they're wearing flak jackets and you're better off shooting for the head."
Liddy, on the impact Adolf Hitler had on him as a child:

Yes she did hit it out the park, if you wanted to hear the same old same old from the Republican. I thought the speech was very negative against people who do not believe in the same things Republican do. She squanders most of the time talking about Barack Obama with sly and sarcastic remarks, but I did not hear her not once talk about the issues facing the America people like getting this economy on track or creating more jobs. To me as a very educated women, who was look for a women to stand there a talk about things that matter to women, she just came off as the typical catty, bitter woman who had her feeling hurt so she with out, with a smile and cut the person down in front of a people (very very tacky in front of you children). This were just mere distractions to get the crowd happy, but the fact is no one in the past 3 days has offered detailed plans on the issues American care most about. Ill keep this short and sweet. I have heard rumors about Obama not being a natural born Citizen of the United States of America, so I decided to do a little research about it. I was able to find a Lawsuit filed in Philadelphia on August 22nd by Prominent Philadelphia attorney Phillip Berg stating that Obama is not a "natural born citizen" and hence he cannot run for President of the United States of America. The Judge made a decision today “August 22nd to proceed with the case saying there is enough credible evidence supporting the claim. I THOUGHT THIS WAS INTERESTING - SENT TO ME BY EMAIL - Obama got off the plane and got into a bullet proof vehicle, got to the area to meet with the Major General (2 Star) who is the commander here at Bagram.

As the Soldiers where lined up to shake his hand he blew them off and didn't say a word as he went into the conference room to meet the General. As he finished, the vehicles took him to the ClamShell (pretty much a big top tent that military personnel can play basketball or work out in with weights) so he could take his publicity pictures playing basketball. He again shunned the opportunity to talk to Soldiers to thank them for their service.

So really he was just here to make a showing for the American's back home that he is their candidate for President. I think that if you are going to make an effort to come all the way over here you would thank those that are providing the freedom that they are providing for you.
