Tony Schiavone is the Sports Director of WSB Radio in Atlanta and can be heard anchoring sports each morning on Atlanta's Morning News. He also is a member of the Georgia Bulldogs Radio Network...working on the post game show during both home and away games, and writes and produces the Best of the Bulldogs....which won the AP Award for Best Sports Program in 2004. He also won the 2006 Georgia Association of Broadcaster Award for Best Sports Story or Series.
He also is the Sports Anchor for WHIO in Dayton, Ohio.
Prior to his years with WSB, he was the host of WCW Monday Nitro on TNT and WCW Thunder on TBS. He spent 10 years with Turner Broadcasting as TV host and was the host of Monday Nitro when it was consistently one of the top rated weekly cable television programs.
Schiavone has appeared in the motion picture "Ready to Rumble," release by Warner Brothers in 2000, and appeared in the HBO series Arliss in 1998. He is a member of SAG.
