Question: why fix them up? Are these properties so dilapidated and the "owners" just will not repair them and what has that to do with foreclosure crises? A foreclosure “crises” response should assist homeowners who signed up with bad loans and are attempting to retain their homes. Which also begs the question why don’t these banks that are concerned with losing money from having too many foreclosed homes just renegotiate these loans? Better to have some income then none at all.
