Mike Kavanagh's passing was quite a shock to all of us at The Meyers Group. I have had a personal relationship with Mike for about 20 years, and we have shared many good times and long talks together. I will remember Mike's integrity more than any of his other great virtues. Mike refused to get caught up in most of the Wall Street hype, and instead always sought to provide the most honest and truthful information to his listeners and his clients. This is quite rare in the financial world and it required significant personal financial sacrifice to retain his principals.

I worked with Mike on his first of his Sunday morning Money Matters shows, back in 1991. The Meyers Group quickly became one of his most regular guest hosts, and we were proud to be invited to the radio studio during some of the past two decades of stressful financial events to help explain their effects to the public.

Mike's intelligence, his honesty, his integrity, and his famous voice will be missed by many. Our sincerest condolences and sympathies to his family, his co-workers, and all his listeners.
