The BC and COLB are distractions from the real problem - The term "natural born Citizen" does not seem to have clear meaning to people anymore. I think at the time the Framers of the constitution wrote those words - they did not feel they were unclear. The 14th amendment does not really clarify its meaning or define it. No Supreme Court rulings have clarified this term to date, nor have they needed to. A natural born citizen does not require a law to define his citizenship, the obvious case of a child born in the U.S. of U.S. Citizen Parents is a Natural Born Citizen. Any other child would require some law to allow him to be a citizen as is the case with Obama. Obama's father was a British Citizen, thus Obama's Citizenship is not Natural -but by laws. Obama's father could have legally taken Obama back to Kenya and raised him there as a Citizen of Kenya. I suspect Obama is a Registered Citizen in Kenya, or least he was at one time. Some argue that Dual Citizenship does not change his U.S. Citizenship - well I agree. But it does make him not a natural born citizen even though he is legally a "citizen at birth" granted to him by law.
