While I try and keep up with the news, mainly by listening and reading Mr. Dupree's blogs because he is by far the most objective reporter I know of, I can't help but notice that even though everyone had said the best thing for the GOP is a tight race for the dems, McCain seems to be fading away and losing momentum more and more. While that might not show up on any survey or in campaign finances, I can't help but get that impression. I think the majority of voters are just like me, wanting to care and to pay attention but really only have time for a few minutes of politics a day. We don't have time for watching hour long speeches in the middle of the day, and waiting for the candidate to show up a hour late for that speech. We let the media give us the cliff notes version and it usually seems to be about Clinton or Obama, be it negative or positive. I guess the question comes down to, is no PR worse than moderately bad PR? We shall see in November...
