First the officer was not serving a warrant.He observed so called victim drunk walking in middle of street.well since public intoxication is against the law in hartwell the officer stop to tell Him to get out of middle of street.He asked the blackwell for his name and he told officer to go f--- himself. The officer then told Blackwell he was under arrest for public intox. He then began to resist arrest.He then pulled a screwdriver out of his pocket and struck officer in base of skull giving him a fracture.The officer then used his pepper spray while being hit 18 times before officer pulled his baton.As for me this is a 6ft.155lb.officer being attacked by a 6ft. 220lb. convicted murderer. Yes I said murderer.If you look up so called victims record.Ga.Dept.of Cor.He was arrest for murdering a man and beating his girlfriend half to death. He got out and stabbed another man.5 years later. he is still awaitng trail for robbery and theft by taking charges from 2007. Jimmy Blackwell is a violent person/murderer who in my opinion should not even be out of prison. As far as your statement about educaton.Maybe you should check your spelling in your comments.Also before you remark on an officers education.He is a 5 year officer and has a criminal justice and sociology degree.which is probably more education than you have
