I don't always agree with you but usually I can appreciate your stance on forgiveness. I think it should be more a part of the Christian creed.<br> But with someone like Michael Vick, you seem to continuously miss the point because the victims are only the "lowly" dogs. You discount what seems obvious to me and others.<br> I can't help but believe that anyone that "enjoys" inflicting pain on another living creature has an important element missing..a conscience and the ability to empathize..<br> That would make him a deviant of some kind that would have no problem pushing those boundaries. Only the threat of being detected would stop him.<br> He is not a man that gets drunk and accidentally kills another. That person deserves punishment..yes..but is usually redeemable and full of remorse.<br> Forgiveness is beside the point with Vick...we definitely need to keep an eye on this man.<br> And regardless if you respect "all God's creatures" or not (I wish you did)...you shouldn't disregard statistics on the element of torture.<br> It takes a special person to be capable of such a deed.<br> You need to recognize that and get past your prejudice towards animals
