It is draconian for the Federal Government to impose penalties on people for not enrolling in Medicare Part B when first eligible. Because of this I cannot afford Medicare Part B and even worse private health insurance companies cannot insure me since if you are eligible for Medicare Part B after 65, Medicare is the primary payer. This is Elder Abuse by the Federal Government depriving me of independence, well-being and financial security. This is the opposite of Government of the people by the people and for the people. It is Government against the people's freedom, life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. There are many detrimental aspects of legislation not understood by the populace, or in this case the Lawmakers themselves. There should not be any penalties imposed in new health care legislation under consideration, it is unjust and onerous. Americans must stop being "sheeple", as the Russian newspaper Pravda refers to us, and take care of ourselves or else all is lost.
