I just moved to GA and got married. I havn't been able to get my GA license although I have gotten my new social security card with my name change. I'm also able to get a passport with my namechange. I'm a veteran of the US Navy, but GA doesn't trust my documentation of my marriage certificate and proof of residency. They need the documentation for my previous marriage and divorce which I don't have anymore and it is difficult to get because it was on Guam. It is easier for an illegal alien to get their GA license than it is for me.
