The Bushcare type system we’ve had for decades costs close to 17% of our GDP, in countries with Obamacare the figure is only 8-10% yet everyone has insurance and the outcome of care is equal or better than ours. We are threatened by runaway medical inflation that saps private-sector profits. The cost burden of our current unchristian system has flat-lined real wages for the middle class and is a burden to small business and large corporations alike creating a competitive disadvantage. As the owner for a small business enterprise I know. 15 years ago 60% of small business covered their workers with insurance now its only 38% because we can not afford the current system even though we want to do so. <br> <br> The percentage of our GDP taken by the current health care system is growing exponentially even as more workers lose their jobs and or their insurance coverage under the current broken system cons want to keep because it keeps the few rich and powerful at the expense of the many middle class and working class, and as they scare us into protecting their profit interests against our own self interest they win we lose to the slavocracy. <br> <br> The ruling elite wants to keep you down by hoaxing you into fighting their battle for keeping things as they are now. Teddy Roosevelt, Harry Truman, and Richard Nixon all favored an end to our anachronistic workplace employer-based health insurance, which threatens you with medical poverty at the roll of the wheel of misfortune. If you or a loved one has not experienced more than a routine broken bone or cold and flu you have not met our real system. If you have not YET faced medical bills without a job or without insurance or after your insurance ran out, you have not met Bushcare. Unchecked health care spending now is depressing take-home pay, costing jobs, squeezing federal state and local governments and driving up taxes and budget deficits. The current system is a burden upon capitalism killing entrepreneurship big and small.
