Our reclusive governor who comes out to crash racecars and fly to his beach home, and photo-ops, but not much else isn't exactly "popular". He's just smart enough to stay out of the public eye most of the time. This allows the crooked politics of this state (2nd only to LA!) to keep him in power. Thank goodness for term limits! Somehow we managed to convict some top dogs this last year, even with the Dem's 100-year grip on power. You could grow tobacco in the legislative chambers here with the quantity of dirt and manure there! Racial politics, as well as race-baiting politics, will play a role in this primary. Obama will likely win, but strange things may occur. If HRC pulls this off, look for Easley as VP candidate...
