First, let me say a few words to MacGregor; who in the hell steals a f__king car in a tow truck? MacGregor, not all repo men are scumbags, however, some of them may be ex-criminals, but that doesn't mean they should be killed for doing their job. MacGregor you should absolutely be ashamed of yourself for the comment you made. Another thing, I am a repo agent, I am also ex-law enforcement and I can guarantee you I am NOT a scumbag. Bet you wouldn’t say that to my face.<br> I own a repossession agency in GA and I know it is a dangerous job, but it is a job that has to be done. I totally disagree with these repo companies that do not allow their agents to carry weapons. Who cares if the company gets sued because a repo agent shoots someone to save his own life.<br> I'm not bragging about anything, but myself and all of my agents are armed with a firearm, a 50,000 volt taser (the kind that law enforcement use), pepper spray and bullet proof armor. Had this been my company and my agents repossessing this vehicle, Mr. Justin Moore would be the one dead or at least wounded. All of my employees are licensed to carry everything they carry and fortunately we have never had to draw our weapon on anyone to date.<br> <br> All of our hearts go out to the families of the deceased and critically injured agents<br> <br> By the way; Georgia has no law stating that a repo agent cannot be armed. The insurance companies, however, say that we can't carry a weapon while repossessing a vehicle because of liability. Who cares about liability? As an owner of a repossession agency, I could careless about liability when it comes to my agents safety. Let them sue me, sue away all you want. Our lives are more important than material things and our agents have a legal right to protect themselves.
