There is currently an embedded 22% tax on everything that we buy. The FAIR TAX will eliminate this tax and replace it with the 23%. Under the fair tax the price stays the same. You won't get less of it. You will get the same. You will also be making more $$ because you wont have to pay federal taxes and payroll taxes. A person making $40K will keep the $10,000 that the government takes from him. Now that's a stimulus package for the economy!!!
