Hit and Run Victim ID'd
(WSB Radio) Cobb County police have identified the victim in Sunday morning's hit-and-run accident on Sandtown Road as 49-year-old J. Dolores Zuniga, of Marietta.
Sergeant Dana Pierce tells WSB there was a reason the driver charged, 24-year-old Jonathan Corona, was driving without a license.
"He was, of age, to possibly get a license if he were legally here in the country," he says. "I can only surmise that he was not here properly documented and, therefore, he never did receive a license and that's going to be one of the charges against him."
Corona's mother, Maria Agullon, has also been charged for trying to protect her son and mislead investigators.

- From a Legal ImmigrantGary, let me tell you why I, a legal immigrant, am against illegal immigration. For the past 24 years, both of my parents work 2-3 jobs at a time so that they could bring the rest of our family over. They have spent thousands of dollars and a lot of hours of filling out paperwork so that my aunts, uncles, and cousins have the same opportunities that I have. So it is a slap in the face when people like you preach about how illegal immigrants want to "come here to work hard and assimilate." So do legal immigrants! The difference between the two is that legal immigrants realize that BREAKING THE LAW and entering the country as a CRIMINAL does not illustrate their desire to succeed. We always talk about illegal immigrants taking jobs that nobody wants - those jobs could be filled by legal immigrants. The problem is not in immigration. The US is a country built from the sweat and tears of immigrants from around the world. The problem lies in illegals who want a free ride.
- Hmmm...Why are people against illegal immigration?? I can't understand why folks get so upset about illegal aliens?? They are good people and only come here for opportunity and to become a good American citizen.. Illegal aliens really don't mean to kill, on average, 13 law abiding, legal Americans EVERY DAY!!! - Here we go again...Show of hands...who can't wait for all the protests when they try to deliver a death sentence, or lock up the mother for being an accomplice? This is why we should punish illegal immigrants. If they figure out they can sneak in our country and steal resources without paying taxes or doing their civic duty, some of them get it in their heads that they can get away with almost anything. We gave an inch or two, and these are the miles they are taking.
