More Skeletal Remains Found in Gwinnett
LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. (AP) Police say a passer-by has found skeletal remains in a Lawrenceville creek bed, the second set of human bones found in Gwinnett County this week.
Police spokeswoman Cpl. Illana Spellman said there's no evidence to suggest a connection between the remains found Thursday and another skeleton found by laborers Monday in Dacula.
Police said officials with the Gwinnett Medical Examiner's Office are investigating, but it's too early to determine the age or gender of the victim.
Authorities said the remains found Monday belonged to a man, but his identity and cause of death have yet to be determined.
