(WSB Radio) A Gwinnett County massage parlor is closed down and an employee arrested after they were caught giving more than massages.

Gwinnett County Police Corporal David Schrialli tells Channel 2 Action News Harmony Therapy on Holcomb Bridge Road in Norcross has been in trouble before.

"Twice now in the last month, they (vice officers) had gone into this business and the personnel there had solicited our undercover officers for active prostitution," said Schiralli.

Schiralli says Zhen Liu offered more than a massage for $200 during the most recent compliance check.  Liu, who was arrested for a second time, faces several charges including running a house of prostitution.

"We forward on the information about these businesses and their illegal practices and then it will be up to the proper authorities to make a decision whether to close them down for a short period of time or permanently," said Schiralli.

What others are saying

  • massage parlor
Who was complaining. Do the police there have nothing better to do than to go get massages and try to coax some girl into proposititioning them? There is liter all over the streets, speeding cars, thieves everwhere, muggings, murder, carjacking, etc, etc etc and yet they hang out in the massage parlors. Why not put a car with a flat tire on the side of the road at night and hide in the bushes. They could get an arrest for sure. Their priority seems misdirected. Maybe if Gary Hilton had run into this same prostitute that the hiker would not have been beheaded.
  • massage this, baby!!!
I think the cops should have just visited www dot massage parlor dot com on line instead.....
  • Hands off
This is such a waste of time and police resources when panhandlers and bums are roaming the streets, people and stores are getting robbed, and cars and houses are getting broken into. Someone please re-examine the police priorities.
