Haunted Baseball Stadium Spooks Guests

LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. (AP) Now that the season is over for the Gwinnett Braves, things have gotten a little spooky around the stadium.

And pitcher Vladimir Nunez can hardly catch his breath from all the scares. Nunez and his family lined up Thursday to tour the ``Stadium of Screams'' haunted house, which opened at the minor league ballpark in Lawrenceville this week.

Guests are greeted by a 7-foot tall asylum attendant and a creepy clown who slinks through the carnival-like maze. For the faint of heart, a family-friendly area with games is set up in outside the haunted house.

The team's baseball season wasn't nearly as scary. The team finished with an 81-63 record and landed a playoff berth in their first season.
