The government gives the value to marijuana by making it illegal. If we re-legalize it, the killings stop, the drug lords go broke, oh yes and the campaign contributions from them also stop.

I agree with PD, when you grow pot you don't "accidentally" leave your door open. I don't care how much weed he smoked. Mustang I totally agree with you as well. If he had 800 plants it had to be hydro grown mini's which usually aren't grown over one and a half feet which could only yield an ounce or two at the most. Street value 500$ give or take. I have knowledge of this from traveling Europe and friends in California. I am i no way a liberal but I believe the war on drugs is unconstitutional. The police are some of the biggest liars and crooks. Even if a door is left open how does that justify a cop stopping to check. I do it all the time especially when bringing in groceries. I doubt this guy will get anything remote to a fair trial in Walton. People say pot is bad for your health? I've seen a lot of old healthy pot heads but I've never seen an 80yr old morbidly obese man. So why isn't he in jail?

Seems to me that a renegade cop gets a tip and takes it upon himself to investigate.
Go ahead and say it, who cares, it's illegal.
Put me on the jury and this one gets a not guilty.
