What others are saying
- FabulousIf you liked Batman Begins then you'll love this movie. The characters are well developed and the plot races from one thing to the next. Lots of great action sequences every bit as good as Batman Begins and some romance to boot. Unlike the previous reviewer, I had no trouble hearing Batman and I disagree with almost everything he said. One thing I will say is think twice about taking the kids, but adults will love it. The Joker is a serious psychopath but that's exactly how his character should be. Enjoy!
- Save your money.....This is by far the worst Batman Movie I've suffered through yet (I thought the last one was bad). Batman (Christian Bale), didn't speak above a barely audible whisper in the entire movie. It spent way to much time on his dull and boring personal problems, making it difficult to stay awake during the first 30 minutes of this below B grade movie. If you think this film is for the kids with The Joker (Heath Ledger) as the villain, be prepared for a mass murderer killing everyone in sight and in front of your kids. This is better suited for a Blood and Gore mad slasher film than a Batman flick. Hollyweird Cocaine snorting writers and directors completely ruined this film and the Batman movie series that were good in the past. I will admit, the GGI effects were the only good part of the movie, the sound woke me up to get me watching again, mainly with typical bad music playing much louder than any boring dialog I cringed through.
Maybe it's time to get rid of the bad actors, and replace them with CGI characters that would do a much better job.
I would suggest trying to get very drunk or stoned before seeing this movie....that will be the only entertainment you will get out of it. Save your money and gas, there are better things to do with your entertainment dollar than waste it on this flop.
