Egan died at St. Joseph's Hospital after suffering an embolism on January 2. He was 67.
Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of The Assumption at 10 a.m., followed by burial in Westview Cemetery.
Egan served 40 years as a Marist priest and worked in secondary and undergraduate education. He was executive vice president of the 1,071-student college preparatory school in Dunwoody before becoming president of the Catholic school seven years ago.
Egan is the second leader of a large private school in the Atlanta area to die in recent weeks. The president of the 2,850-student Woodward Academy in College Park died January 7th after apparently jumping from the eighth floor of a hotel in Midtown Atlanta.
His death was ruled a suicide.
