(WSB Radio) -- Frank Eldridge has died.
Eldridge served as Secretary of the State Senate for 13 years, beginning in 1993 and ending with his deah last night of a heart attack.
Eldridge first served as a state senator from 1965 to 1982.
Following his service in the legislature, Eldridge went on to serve as executive director of the state Public Service Commission, then was appointed Secretary of the Senate.
as the Secretary of the Senate Eldridge was responsible for the day to day operations of the Senate.
