(WSB Radio) -- It must have been an unusual site: A baby zebra eating grass near exit 201 on I-75 south of Atlanta.
Folks from Noah's Ark, an exotic animal rescue center in Locust Grove, came and picked up the animal Tuesday.

The young male zebra was severely injured, probably falling off a truck or trailer and the was likely hit by another vehicle. But Diane Smith, with Noah Ark, says he's recovering nicely.
- WSB's Jeff Hullinger reports

The zebra has been named Evidence because police kept referring to him as evidence.
Anyone who wants to help pay for Evidence's surgery can donate at http://www.noahs-ark.org or call 770-957-0888.
