Gas Prices at Warehouse Clubs
(WSB Radio) -- Though he won't give specifics, the manager of a local Costco tells Channel 2 Action News that business at his gas pumps are booming.

Traditionally, membership warehouse clubs like Costco, Sam's Club and BJ's sell gasoline at much lower prices than convenience stores or service stations.

According to atlantagasprices.com the Costco on Venture Drive in Duluth is selling regular unleaded for $3.47 a gallon. The Sam's and BJ's in McDonough are offering gas for $3.46. Depending on where you shop, that's 13 to 14 cents cheaper than the national average reported by AAA.

Some Costco customers tell Channel 2 Action News lines for gas are sometimes 5 and 6 cars deep, making the wait anywhere from 15 minutes to a half an hour.
