Next Georgia Execution Set
(WSB Radio) -- The date for the next Georgia execution has been set. The Georgia Attorney General has set May 22nd as the date Samuel David Crowe will be put to death.

Crowe was convicted in 1989 in the death of a Joseph V. Pala, who worked at a Wickes Lumber Company store in Douglas County.

Investigators said Crowe claimed he was in debt and needed money to save his home.

Crowe's wife worked at the store and Crowe had been a manager-trainee at the store years before.
