(WSB Radio) -- Authorities have identified the two teens who drowned in Lake Allatonna Friday morning as 18-year-old Jose Roberto Martinez of Acworth and 15-year-old Edwardo Avalos of Kennesaw.
Both were students at North Cobb High School.
The two drowned in approximately 60 feet of water while trying to cross a 150-yard cove.
The teenage boys were with a group as a part of a "senior skip day".
The group was swimmning near the beach at Red Top Mountain State Park but the two never returned to shore.
