(WSB Radio) -- The smoky haze over metro Atlanta that is being blamed on the wildfires from south Georgia has affected air quality here.
"We have had some sites that have registered concentrations higher than what we had a week ago," says state EPD air monitoring program manager Susan Zimmer-Dauphinee.
She tells WSB Health Reporter Sabrina Gibbons that the department's south metro monitoring stations appears to have the highest concentrations of soot.
"People should limit their outdoor activity and if they start feeling any kind of physical symptoms, they could contact their physician," said Zimmer-Dauphinee.
