(WSB Radio/AP) -- Atlanta is among forty-six U.S. cities and their surrounding suburbs who will win Homeland Security Department counterterror grants this year.
The funding amounts for the cities will be announced on Wednesday.
The government has earmarked $740 million for this year's anti-terror program.
The CDC and Hartsfield-Jackson are two of the reasons Atlanta makes the federal list of terror targets.
