(WSB Radio) -- The U.S. Humane Society says it has been receiving complaints about Michael Vick's alleged association with dog-fighting since 2004.

Agency spokesman John Goodwin says Humane Society investigators have received reliable information that dog carcasses are buried on the property in Virginia once owned by the Falcons' quarterback.

The Surry County Commonwealth's Attorney and the local Sheriff have yet to act on a search warrant obtained by the U.S. Department of Agriculture to look for the animal remains.

Vick, who claims he has no connection to dog-fighting, has not been charged with a crime.
