(WSB Radio) -- Barrow County deputies say a 10-year old boy is hospitalized with a gunshot wound to the lower part of his body.
Deputies say they received a 9-1-1 call at 11:47 this morning from a home in Bethlehem. The caller said there had been an accidental shooting.
WSB's Pete Combs reports the boy was transported to Egleston Childrens Hospital. A weapon has been recovered from the scene.
Authorities wouldn't say who fired the weapon, nor would they describe the circumstances leading up to the shooting.
