(WSB Radio) -- Just as radar detectors were developed to counter police radar, drivers are resorting to some unique measures to combat red light cameras.
A product called Photoblocker has shown up in metro Atlanta. Photoblocker is an aerosol that is sprayed on license plates and effectively renders them unreadable if a traffic camera uses a flash. But only a portion of red light cameras use flashes when photographing speeders.
The company that markets Photoblocker also makes a plastic license cover that distorts the numbers and letters on the plant. But such a cover will become illegal in a couple of weeks under a new Georgia law.
