Paulding County deputies recovered more than 40 shell casings along a stretch of Riverwood Drive in Dallas after several residents witnessed several men in two cars exchanging gunfire with one another.

No one in the Riverwood subdivision, off of Dallas-Acworth Highway, was hurt. Two bullets were removed from two homes. One pierced a garage door and shattered a car window. The other lodged in a front porch column.

Witnesses were unable to give investigators a good desription of the suspects or their vehicles.

Unconfirmed rumors floating around the subdivision have many residents believing a drug house is operating in the neighborhood.
