Two Held In Attorneys' Kidnapping
(WSB Radio) Atlanta Police have taken two people into custody in connection with the Sunday kidnapping of two attorneys.

18-year-old Christopher McFarland and 22-year-old Christopher Maddox, both of Atlanta, have been charged with kidnapping and armed robbery.

Police are also seeking additional suspects, but would only say they hang out in the Pittsburg area of Southwest Atlanta.

28-year-old Herman Hoying, associate with King and Spalding, and 26-year-old David Deganian, who works for the Georgia Public Defenders Standards Council, were at a nightclub with friends when they got separated around 2:30 Sunday morning.

Deganian's brother Arman, tells Channel 2 Action News about a dozen people were leaving a nightclub in East Atlanta when the two stayed behind.

"The two of them were closing out their tab and were probably two minutes, staggered behind us. They just ended up getting separated from us," said Deganian.

He said not long after, he got a text message from his brother saying the two had been kidnapped and to call the police.

Around 5 o'clock Sunday afternoon, Atlanta Police arrested the two suspects in a store in the West End neighborhood after using a credit card of one of the men.

Hoying and Deganian were found possibly tied up, in a building in Cabbagetown.
