(WSB Radio) -- DeKalb County Police have made one arrest in the June home invasion in which several men forced a woman into her housein the Laurel Gate subdivision and robbed her while her children were there.
Her husband, Sterling Ledet, came home and was also tied up. He tells WSBs Jennifer Griffies, We do feel like we would have been killed if my wife had not escaped. I mean, my wife was protected by God. Thats the only thing that I can say. It certainly felt, for sure, like everything was over.
His wife, who was badly beaten and handcuffed to a chair, managed to escape and get to Lavista Road where she was rescued by a passing driver.
Police say the search continues for several other suspects.
