(WSB Radio/AP) -- Ike is roaring across Cuba, tearing off roofs and dropping sheets of rain, some of it coming down sideways. 900,000 people on the island nation are in shelters as the storm moves slowly across the country. Ike made landfall as a Category-3 hurricane late Sunday night after raking the Bahamas and worsening floods in Haiti that have already killed 319 people. It's now weakened to a Category-2 storm, with top winds of 100 miles per hour, but is expected to regain strength when it moves into the Gulf of Mexico.
