ok so lets spend more of our money on illegals? no! In there countries if they break the law some get their hands cut or spend the rest of their lives in jail.They know the laws there they are the same here in America! They just knw that we are more compassionate with our systems.

It's okay, though---they're just trying to feed their families, right?

Did I hear this right? The Panel wants teach the foreignors about our Laws after they start stealing and holding up people because there are no jobs? How about rounding all the foreignors up along with the Panel and shipping them all out of the country? Good Ridence.

Can you say mass riots on the way! Our government is p!ssing down our backs and telling us it's raining. You want to stop this madness? Your dollar has more power than your vote. Let the businesses and our officials know that if they want to hire illegal labor they will not receive your dollars. A one to two month economic boycott (where only essentials like food and medicine are bought) would speak volumes to them in a language they understand.

Here's an easy solution- build a fence to stop the flow of illegal immigration, then allow people to enter the country after they meet the established requirements (not criminals, speak the language, pay taxes, etc..)

This shadow society of illegals is causing big problems on many fronts. We need to be big boys and girls and face the reality of the situation.

Remember the old School House Rock song about America being the big Melting Pot? That's how it should be. Many of us are decendants of immigrants who set out, risking their lives at times to have the proud distinction of calling themselves Americans, but the motives are different with these people. The parasites who want to live in America and enjoy all of the benefits without actually becoming Americans have formed a disgusting film on the top of the Pot and they need to be skimmed.

Right. How much money will this "reaching out to this illegal immigrant community" cost the tax payers??? When is this invasion of MY rights going to stop? Government keeps trying to accommodate these law breakers using my money.

Overall, immigration has been a net gain for American citizens, though a modest one in proportion to the size of our 13 trillion-dollar economy.

Immigrants do not take American jobs. The American economy can create as many jobs as there are workers willing to work so long as labor markets remain free, flexible and open to all workers on an equal basis.

In recent decades, immigration of low-skilled workers may have lowered the wages of domestic low-skilled workers, but the effect is likely to have been small, with estimates of wage reductions for high-school dropouts ranging from eight percent to as little as zero percent.

While a small percentage of native-born Americans may be harmed by immigration, vastly more Americans benefit from the contributions that immigrants make to our economy, including lower consumer prices. As with trade in goods and services, the gains from immigration outweigh the losses. The effect of all immigration on low-skilled workers is very likely positive as many immigrants bring skills, capital and entrepreneurship to the American economy.

Legitimate concerns about the impact of immigration on the poorest Americans should not be addressed by penalizing even poorer immigrants. Instead, we should promote policies, such as improving our education system, that enable Americans to be more productive with high-wage skills.

We must not forget that the gains to immigrants coming to the United States are immense. Immigration is the greatest anti-poverty program ever devised. The American dream is a reality for many immigrants who not only increase their own living standards but who also send billions of dollars of their money back to their families in their home countries—a form of truly effective foreign aid.

America is a generous and open country and these qualities make America a beacon to the world. We should not let exaggerated fears dim that beacon.

Calling this invading mob "illegal immigrants" is like calling a drug pusher an unlicensed pharmacist.

Through political correctness America is committing suicide while our spineless politicians terrified of being called racists and bigots are sitting on their butts in total paralysis while the country slides into the sewer.God have mercy on us.

Well, Duh! Of course they're responsible for a disproportionate number of crimes - that's why they come to this country in the first place, and treat it like one big piggy-bank. Companies need to be fined big-time and illegals need to be shipped back to Mexico post-haste whenever they're booked for anything. Enough is enough!

Are you kidding me that's what you want our leaders to do is to teach them laws.Come on they know the laws they know stealing, driving with no license, driving drunk, being here illegal, gangs are all big NO's No's. Don't you think over in Mexico and every where elese the basic laws are pretty much the same. If they commit a crime send the back where they came from.
