The masked man entered the building about 10:50 in the morning and robbed the credit union at gunpoint. No customers were in the credit union initially but one entered during the robbery and was ordered to lie down and not to look at the suspect.

A bank teller sounded the alarm and Atlanta police swarmed the office but the suspect was already gone.

APD Sargent Tommie Collins says the Police Department is not on the same floor as the credit union, but police responded almost immediately. "Even though we don't have any police functions on this floor, it is in the same building so I was definitely surprised."

Police say they're looking for a black man, 6'2" wearing a black leather jacket and a yellow shirt. Atlanta Police and the FBI are investigating.
